How Other Cultures Celebrate Easter

Other countries have celebrations that have some of the same customs and traditions such as:
  • Greek traditions of dyeing eggs red and a lamb soup to break fast
  • Italy's large feasts
  • Mexico has two-week celebrations with parades and parties

Many Western Christian cultures including the United States, the United Kingdom, and Germany celebrate Easter. As well as Orthodox Christian cultures in countries like Greece, Romania, and Serbia.

Many different customs aswell, for example, in Germany they have a unique tradition of decorating "Easter Trees", in Poland they have a water-splashing tradition, and in Guatemala they have elaborate sawdust carpets.
